Customer Service Representative (seasonal, part-time)

We are looking for seasonal, part-time Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to join our underwriting department.

Part-time CSRs work alongside the team in our Customer Care Center. They are the first point of contact for all existing customers utilizing our call center for support. We expect them to provide the best possible customer service while maintaining company standards. 

This is a 100% virtual, work from home opportunity. You will need a private workspace and a reliable internet connection. Training is paid and equipment is provided. 

In this role you will:

• Address client needs and concerns via phone and email
• Answer back-to-back inbound calls
• Make outbound calls as needed
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers
• Provide prompt, accurate and friendly customer service
• Service can include responding to inquiries regarding payments, policy changes, cancellations and others as assigned

Compensation: $18/hr

Job Type: temporary/seasonal, part-time (estimated need is April through September) 

Benefits: this role is not eligible for benefits 

Schedule: 20-hour work week, 10am-2pm EST Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Delight our customers with superior customer service
• Service existing customers with payments, policy changes, etc. which do not require additional underwriting support
• Cancel and Non-renew policies according to procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications

Desired Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience
• Prior call center experience
